Which Mac do I need?
ScreenShotty runs on macOS 27 or later on Macs with Apple silicon (M1 and newer).
Why does macOS ask for “Screen Recording”?
Without this permission no app may see what is on your screen. ScreenShotty only uses it at the moment you start a capture yourself. The help page shows how to grant it.
Does ScreenShotty replace the macOS screenshot tool?
No, both work side by side. ScreenShotty uses its own shortcuts (⌥⇧ instead of ⌘⇧), and you can change them freely.
Can I change annotations later?
Yes – save as a “ScreenShotty Document”. When you open it again, every arrow, text and blur is still editable on its own.
